Slight Stupidity in Bibiki

Well today started out decent, headed to Korroloka Tunnel and killed some spiders and the gigas in the first open area. From there I decided to go to Bibiki Bay. Well I get a tele and chocobo to Mhaura and set my HP and grab a map. Well seeing how I did not bother to find out where the map npc is, I spent like 15 min looking for him. When I finally found him, I ran to Bibiki Bay. To be honest, if I put some thought into my targets, it would be great. I started out Eft vs Eft, and also Eft vs the occasional Goblin Shaman. It was good fun, till I died. Thankfully I got a raise, and got back to killing. Of course this is when my stupidity caused the shit to hit the fan. I decided to kill an Eft that was fairly close to another Eft. Well you can probably guess the outcome of that, I died. I Homepointed, and logged.

Tomorrow, Gian, Captainscurvy, and I are doing BCNM 30 Petrifying Pair. This will hopefully bring some much needed gil, and a much needed gear improvement.

Silence of the Ocrs

Well I headed to the Ghelsba areas, and killed Orc for 4 hours straight. Nothing amazing really happened, other than the fact that I am not broke completely anymore. With my newfound gil, I figure I will hit Eastern Altepa Desert tomorrow, hopefully gaining Lv 34 or 35.

The Emptiness takes a Hiatus

Well we did Promyvion-Dem today. Seriously was a joke. The run up to the spire was more or less the same as Holla, except it had a nice tinge of green everywhere. Well we finished, everyone got a pleasant 4.5k experience, and nothing dropped. Here's a picture of us at the end (not pictured: Philips (Whm) and Captainscurvy (Thf)).

Well tomorrow, is straight up Orc slaughter for gil. My tiger and I are going to enjoy it so much.

The Emptiness Begins

Well today we finally started the Promyvions by doing Holla. I was an interesting ride up to the Spire, but all in all very smooth. We also did the ENM Stimulant, which was honestly a joke. Took us all but five minutes. After that we rested and hit the actually mission. Wow was that a step up, though not actually hard. Things went pretty smooth, and we eventually won. One down three to go! To top it all of I dinged Lv 33 also.

In other news...the Whm, Lunisa, was kinda crazy. Not bad at the job just crazy. I also had a very bad mistype, but thats a story that needs to be kept under wraps.

A short trip to Garliage

Well I started out today in Carpenter's Landing, but things started to get messy. I died once from link or mischarm, once from casting cure on this Rdm doing a CoP mission (he died and the tonberries tore me to shreds), and once because a Spunkie did not want to explode. Well I got tired, and me and my friend Muerte (Pld) got a party in Garliage Citadel. It was your usual kill bats over and over again, and when i dinged 32 I had to leave.

Tomorrow, going to see how well Sauromugue Champaign holds up for Bst 32. From the looks of it its going to be smooth sailing.

Thunder Cats Hoooooooo

Well decided to hit Carpenter's landing for levels 31-33. It was a little rough starting out, died roughly 3 times. Thankfully Accel, a PLD in the area raised me. It was mainly charm something, preferably a tiger, and kill tigers, beetles, and the occasional Spunkie. Got roughly 2950 xp left for Lv 31, probably will finish that tomorrow.

In other news, my friend Venlo experience "a new level of stupidity" while leveling SAM. Apparently, the party leader was a DRG/WHM, who changed to DRG/MNK. Please note that this is not the dunes, and Venlo is around 43. He also for some unknown reason was using NQ beetle earrings but also had Rajas ring. This being said, there are only two possible answers for his stupidity: 1) He was stoned or 2)He bought his account. I'm going with the later, because there is no way in hell anyone can be that stoned.

Knowledge

Well I was having quite a difficult time soloing in Qufim these past few days. I was dying a lot, running through pet food like a ninja runs through shihei. It then dawned on me, that I can swap pets. I was using this method of "pet swapping", and wow, things improved. I was like a breath of fresh air. I killed wights and gigas, till I got a party in Yhoator. I could not help but laughing, but Venlo was on SAM and it took him quite a long time to get a party in comparison to me being on BST. Not saying he is bad, he really good due to his insane gear. Well I ran to Yhoat with my tiger jugs, and we started killing mandies like crazy. I hit 29, and am really close to 30 already. As much as this is against my code of conduct, I will probably still party until I hit 30 at least.

Qufim Isle

Well i ditched crafting for some time so i could a least reach level 30. I ran over to Qufim Island, and immediately charmed a EM clipper. Told it to go kill a near by worm, and i started rolling from there. Worms are weak. Very Very Weak. The most damage i think they have done to me is around 100, but this is only with Stone II. I run over to the lake, and start killing the worms. A party comes eventually and also starts killing the worms. They were kinda psst because for every one worm they killed, I was killing 2 maybe 3. Oh how fun BST is when i comes to be able to gain exp at a such a pure awesome rate. I did die a couple of times, but i have gotten used to that. I figure that i am going to die at least 100k times on the way to 75, so i might as well HP and just get back to killing. On to 27 next

Cooking for Cash

These last few weeks have been really dull, not to say that they were bad. I dinged 25 in Buburimus Peninsula, and headed straight for Windurst. Seeing how I was in a dire need of funds I decided to continue raising cooking. Made a little over 10k at the moment over the 13 levels I have gained, but most of the synths I NPC'ed. Well when ever i recover, its off to Qufim for some crab on leech action.

Korroloka Joys

Well went to Korroloka Tunnel, and its not bad. Charm a bat, kill a worm. Good stuff. Except for the damn low levels killing all the worms. I'm 24, and im seeing a party of lv 9 red mages and black mages tearing through worms that con DC to me. They should be at least IT to them, but they have their stupid PL buddies who have nothing better to do. Well going to hopefully hit 25 tomorrow, and move on to Altana knows where.

Goodbye Valkrum...

Well I finally reached level 23, and can leave Valkrum Dunes. I will most likely be heading to Windurst to raise cooking, and make some money. From there I will head of to Korroloka Tunnel, for at least 2 more levels.

Let me tell you about my best friend

Well since i was getting more or less raped in Jugner:

As you can see this was not fun. I think i died around 10 times that day, losing a net total of 1700 exp. Well a person on KI told me that I could go back to Valkrum, and stay there to 23. Well I decided I have nothing to lose. Well, I head over there, check a leech, and to my wonder it was EM. Oh this was going to be fun. Well I charm it, and go bat shit crazy. Gobs are falling like Mandragoras, EXP is flowing like the mighty Amazon, and peace was restored to the world. It just so happened, when trying to select Raging Axe, I selected Familiar, and continued my reign of chaos. Well with this insanity going on, I reached lv 22. Well I think Venlo got his Velocious Belt today, and tomorrow I will finally get magicite finished.

Leeches in Jugner

Finally level 21, and I am out of Valkrum. I decided to do the event after hitting 21, and at least go a pumpkin head, and 3 staffs. After that went to Jeuno, seeing how my gear was outdated ( I was using scale foot gear), and bought a beetle harness, new shield, and some beetle leggings. Sadly I was too poor to afford anything more, no pet food and no spike necklace. Well with that finished, I drag my self to Jugner. I was a little skeptical about how decent a camp this is, but after my first kill with a leech i feel in love with this place. Sure its a little musty, but 300 xp a kill with band is nice. To top it all off, leeches are great pets. Not very hard to charm, last very long, and have solid attack defense. Went crazy with leeches, and in just 5 leeches gained 2000 xp toward lv 22.

The Era of Broadband

Well as the title says, I have broad band now! FFXI is so much smoother now. Well I wish i could keep writing, but I can't. Updates will be few till Oct 21, sorry.

Farming

Well this entire weekend was spent more or less farming to raise Leather Craft. The first day i decided to kill sheep in West Ronfaure. Things went well, kill a couple of sheep, make some leathers, and have a good time. I reached leather crafting 2.3 that day. The next day was spent killing more sheep, except this time they were in Konschtat Highlands, things went well again. Actually came across Stray Mary, but no drop. All that crafting brought me to 3.7. Finally, the last day. This day was meaningless slaughter. Kind of ran around Jagged-Ear Jack's spawn area in hopes of getting luck, but I did not get lucky. Then decided to train a bunch of rabbits and blow them all up with Banishga. Oh how I love Banishga. Well killing those bunnies and making mantles took me 4.1. Realizing how broke I am, I decided to go camp Spook. Ended up killing him twice, to no avail. Well hoping to make some cash next week, maybe will camp some other NM, like Crypt Ghost or something like that.

Weekend Agenda

Well last weekend did not go exactly how i hope, wasting one entire day camping Spipi with no luck. This week, I have decided to tear through a couple of Leather Crafting levels so that it will be a meager source of income for some time. Then hope to reach approximately between level 21-22 by Sunday with luck.

Wings of Fury

Well me and my good friend Venlo did Wings of Fury on Sunday. It went well, Furies took a couple of charms to get under control, but all turned out well. I got to keep all the drop, mainly because Venlo is so rich. I got a platoon sword, scroll of invisible, red rock, 2 bat wings, and a bat fang. Sold for approximately 8k, but oh well. I decided to work on leather craft then, but realized that i had little inventory space, and few of the necessary items. Killed some sheep, then quit.

Kicking back in Sarutabaruta

Well today I hit Lv 20, and decided it was time for a gear upgrade. So to grab the money for it, i head over to East Sarutabaruta, and decide to camp spipi. So I m hacking away at crawlers and bees, waiting for him for to spawn. Surprisingly he spawns very fast, and dies quicker. Sadly no drop. Well continuing to camp him tomorrow, and hopefully I will get the drop.

Omg... i can solo

Well I decided that Valkrum was being a complete douche, with the lag and idiots (the latter i did not see much of), and went to solo (more like learn to solo). I bored the ship with my flag up, and guess what as the ship is sailing away i see this in my Log:

I am just thinking, why does life hate me. I honestly can not think of anything that i did to it. Well, there was that one incident.....but I am losing my point. So i ask some friends and end up going to The Maze of Shakhrami. On the way there i died, but oh well. I reach there, and my god it was fun. No lag, No idiots, No gobs that rape you. Heaven. I was tearing through Gobs and Worms like there was no tomorrow. Then i was getting cocky and tried to kill a combat, i hit it

I start running so damn fast to the zone, but alas i still pick up a couple links. Im at the zone with just 3 hp left. I am thinking im going to make it. I "zone", the screen goes black, and when i reappear i see me dead, with this in my log:

Honestly what did i ever do to life, i thought we were cool with each other. I hope this makes us even. Well i HP, because the maze was empty, and wake all the way back there. I finish the day making me 2k closer to level 20. Only 2300 to go!!!

An Awesom Day in Valkrum

Your probably thinking is a good day in Valkrum Dunes, well it is. I start out, figuring I will Solo while i had my LFP flag up. Things went really well, charmed a DC sand hare, and started killing EM - T Tier 2 Gobs. Then I died. Well, I am a BST so I die a lot. I HP and start again. Charm a EM hare this time, and kill a snipper with difficulty (damn they hit hard and have a high DEF). Then I die again, Bogy aggro. Oh well, the snip gave me 300xp with ring, so i had a loss of only 100xp. I move to the area full of lizard and start killing with a Star Bat. I love those guys. I got about 2k with just one bat. I then get a party and Hit level 19. Well tomorrow hopefully will be Level 20, and of to Mhaura. To xp solo till 23.

DS

Well I'm getting a DS tomorrow and played a little FFIX today. Will play FFXI tomorrow. Will have some new ffxi stories also. Thats it. Dull, i know

Dammit!!

Well things are going to slow down a bit, in terms of posts and Final Fantasy XI, but you can still expect at maximum three posts a week. Well who knows i just might start a humorous Final Fantasy XI comic, but you never know. Well things will improve in the future, and I hope you will stay.

Final Fantasy X tore my heart out

By this title, you probably assume that a videogame has killed me...well i'm still here. Did not really play ffxi today, wanted to just beat FFX. My god the ending was good, i was practically brought to tears. I wont spoil the ending, but for those of you who have beaten the game you know what i am talking about. Now that FFX is over, still have X-2 (shameful game at best), FFIX (hmmmmm cartoony) and of course FFXI in between. Will most likly just stay with FFXI for sometime, than go to FFIX. Well thats all today....

A decent day in the Dunes

Well today had to walk all the way from La Thein Plateau to Valkrum, didnt take as long as expected. To be honest i actually enjoyed the walk, and got 400xp from it too. So when i finally reach i put my flag up, and just start soloing lizzies and Gobs. Thinking i will only get maybe half way to 18, but i decided screw this and make a party. Things went well with this party, got all the way to 18 and an additional 1400xp, only had minor D/C issues on top of that. Sure we were made up of people from 16-19 but it was ok. I actually gained new respect for they DRK job, they really own if you just give them a break. SURE they miss sometimes, but they make it up. Well today was decent, and hope tommorow will be close to the same if not better.
