Mid Hiatus Update

I hopefully should be back next month into the game. Hopefully being the keyword. School is really hard this year, but ill probably return to do some hardcore crafting and such. I have once again abandoned my idea of leveling SAM, and gone back to the idea of BRD. Why? I don't really know. It does seem fun, and it will give me something to get a lot of merits on and endgame. Anyway I leave you with a random picture. Which for some reason will not cooperate with me and go in the bottom, so its up there. I love polar bears. Even have a toy one on the side of my bed. There is nothing wrong with having a stuffed polar bear toy at my age. I think I will name him Panda :3

Hiatus

Taking a short break from this game for school purposes. Looking into Samurai when I return (Yes I said a lot about Blackmage, but meh I want something I get to work with other people....*walks away to gouge eyes out*). I just hope I will have enough time to dedicate to standard partying. I should. Anyway more stories coming probably in November...not saying they come often anyway :P

Wait...whats this LFP thing...

Wow has it been a long time since I was in a conventional party and it feels awkward. I hate being lfp. I got so bored i opened up my Chemistry text and started reading it..bleh. Oh well Ninja is currently at 21..hoping for 25ish tonight, but probably will stop at round 24ish.

Also i still need ni, and with 220 seals to burn i should get lucky on a royal jellies at least once.

More work now?!?!

Well I finally Dinged 75. Whoop! And so I do a couple dance4s with my Magmatic Eruca in Mount Zhalyom. Fuzzy little bastards, swear even with 103 total chr and Apollo's Staff i was having issues charming them. Oh well its all good now. Campaign a buffer eventually, just too lazy right now :). After all the celebrations are over i'm like what now. It appears i have more work to do leveling /nin and somehow getting utsusemi: ni :( and a lot of gil for imperial gold pieces for walmart turban. On top of all this i got a crap ton of crafting to do. Bleh. Pics will come soonish. Tooooo lazy to do it now.

Wow has it been long

A lot has happened in the last several months. For example I am already lv 73, and closing in on 75. Finished my AF a long time ago, and have just been grinding and farming.

Yes I Am Lazy

Have not really felt like updating the blog lately, but its finally here. Spent a long time farming, and finally obtained my Apollo's staff. After I obtained that, I figured farm a little bit more, then zerg rush it to 75. So far so good. Bought my Haubergeon today, and also dinged 54. Need some help to get my Beast Gloves, but after that I think im in a very good position to just grinding my way to 75.

So Close, Yet So Far

So very close to obtaining my Apollo's Staff, just need Sleepga 2 to sell. On the topic of Sleepga 2 there is a lot to speak about. First of all, it was fairly easy, time consuming, but easy nonetheless. Second, the NM is weak, and in contrary to the ffxiwiki page on Agas, you do not need a party of 75s to kill him. Zafire, Venlo, a BST in the area (very sorry, forgot your name >.<), and I on WHM tore him to shreds. Easiest 300k I will ever make. While waiting for the scroll to sell on the AH, I have been raising leathercraft, and finally dinged 20 today. More than likely, will continue the path to 24 on Bugards in Lufaise Meadows seeing how the drop rate was phenomenal without Treasure Hunter.

Fomor Fun

Had to finish up CoP 2-3 today, so I run up to the safe hold, get a couple cut scenes, and head to the aqueducts. Interesting run, Gian trained to stegosaurs toward the end, and we finished it. Then we decided to go subligar hunting. Obtained my BST subligar 1/1 on the Fomor Beastmaster. The other Fomors were not so generous, but in the end Captainscurvy got his RNG subligar. I logged out about here, seeing how the coming week is going to be hell.

Blarg

Fatigued, aggravated, and lazy are words that best describe me right now. Yesterday spent about three hours killing Exorays with the help of Kullen (DRK) and later Didey (RDM) to get my mold for Genkai 1. Thank you guys. We killed a lot of shrooms, and I ended making about 5k of the mushrooms that dropped. Still working toward Apollo's Staff, but did buy my Dark Staff because +10 hMP is going to own. Today, hopefully finish Genkai 1, and continue running around like a mad man either xp'n or questing.

A Mad Dash

For the past few days I have been using every experience bad at my disposal in a desperate attempt to gain as much experience as possible. My original goal was to reach 50 by today, but sadly I stopped at 2.1k into 49. Reason being is that I need to do some profit crafting in most likely cooking to help fund my Apollo's Staff. With luck I should have enough gil by Friday, and continue to work on Beastmaster to 52. Also, my Linkshell is planning to help me and Gian with CoP 2-3 and Mission 5-1. Well, the weekend coming up looks good, hopefully school will not ruin my fun.

Bored

So bored. Have not xp'd Beastmaster in about 2 weeks. Slightly depressing. Only positive thing was that I managed to reach Whitemage 41, and obtain my Blessed Hammer. Next week is going to be a straight shoot to 45 hopefully.

Epic

Time for a long post, covering all the happenings of the past couple weeks. To start things off, I dinged 40, and got my shiny new Barbaroi axe. I also bought my self some shiny new gear, and now look like a decent damage dealer. The next day, I decided to get into Wings of the Goddess. Things were apparently more beautiful in the past because it is absolutely lovely. Venlo guided me to San D'Oria, where I enlisted with the Iron Rams. We also did a quest, that gave a very nice Deathstone. I gave the stone to Venlo, because the next quest give an even better Angelstone. Today, I felt too lazy to experience, so I decided to farm rams. After killing roughly 3 or 4 rams, guess who popped...none other than good old Bloodtear Baldruf. Venlo came over and tore him to shreds, but sadly no drop. After that, finished off the Angelstone quest, and had some fun watching Venlo rip things in two with Retribution. Put the stone on the AH for 200k, and logged for the day.

A Back Row Seat

Headed to Sea Serpents Grotto to experience till 39, and it was not half bad. Took quite some getting used to, and I did die a lot, but in the end it was definitely worth it. I was mostly getting Chain 2s for 150 xp to 200 xp off the Ghasts, and I think I had one chain 3. Most of my deaths were either stupidity (like when I wandered too close to a group of Ghasts when low on HP), or mis charms on my leech buddies. Probably finish off lv38 here, then head to Purgonorgo Isle for lv 39 to lv 40. Things are slowly, but steadily, starting to look up.

An Interesting Series of Events

Well today started out with some light Lantern Shield camping, but sadly no drop. Then I decided to raise WAR because a friend of mine is raising COR, and I will need WAR eventually to raise my NIN sub. Well taking WAR to 8 was weak, then I decided to go level BST. I run all the way to Eastern Altep Desert only to find that its kinda a weak or incredibly hard camp. To much effort, then I run through Korroloka Tunnel, die, Home Point, and run through again. Head over to Sea Serpent Grotto, for some leveling. I had to log about the time I reached the grotto, due to the fact that I got lost multiple times in Yuthunga Jungle. Well from what it looks like, tomorrow is going to completely own, some solid leech on Ghast or Ironshell action. Good Fun.

Rams, Bats, and Beetles

Well today started out as usual, sell my ram horns and skins, and return to killing rams. Rinse repeat. Eventually, I got a tell asking if i wanted a party in Garliage Citadel. Well after some deliberation, I run to Garliage. The experience was phenomenal. In about two hours, I almost dinged 37. No complaints, only 200 exp more.

Silence of the Rams

Well I continued my farming spree, but this time moved to the rams in La Theine Plateau. The money is good, except i have to run to San D'Oria every 3 to 5 rams to sell my drops. My friends suggest that I do a couple of gobbiebag quests, to increase my inventory so I can hold more drops. Well probably will do the second quest tomorrow, and then hit La Theine again.

Magicite

Well I finally wrapped up Mission 4-1 Magicite. It was honestly really easy. Got help from my friend Captainscurvy for Castle Oztroja, and I went Whm for the other two. The cut scenes in my opinion were really confusing, but hopefully everything will become clearer as time passes.

Up to almost 50k now, just been killing rams and selling drops to NPC. Going to kill orcs, and hopefully hit around 70k doing so.

The Emptiness Ends...and Bankruptcy Begins

Well we finally finished Promyvion-Mea today, a lot easier than what they said. We also ran the ENM Playing Host, and actually got a drop. Its only 60k, so each of us will get 12k. No complaints, seeing how i have approximately 700 gil at the moment. I also will continue to raise tanning, and make some measly gil off that. That's about it.
